Beginner Reader
For you who have never read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, you truly need to do so. Some of the books are available in an easy-to-read format right here (we are in the process of getting all the books on; however, it is a time-consuming task!). It is recommended you start right now. Say a prayer to our Heavenly Father Yahweh, through His Son Yahshua's name (our Messiah was born of the tribe of Judah, He would NOT have a Greek-Latinized name!), to help open your heart and mind to His words. You need to read it as a "new" book, putting all "pre-conceived" or "taught" ideas away. Have a tablet near you and write down questions and issues you may want to come back to study. Some things you should notice early in your reading:
- The days start at sundown, not midnight;
- Instructions were given by our Father way back in Genesis, such as the Sabbath day;
- The year starts in the spring;
- Our Father gives us certain days to celebrate and they are not the ones you have been taught;
- No mention of celebrating Messiah's birthday;
- No mention of "Halloween," "Christmas," "Valentine's Day," "Easter," or any other religious holy day celebrated by the world today;
- No mention of any of our Father's instructions being "done away with"; no "You don't have to do this anymore," said by our Father, His Son, or any of His Son's apostles!
- No mention of a trinity.
This was just a very basic and partial list of things to watch for and you should question, "WHY are they observed if not in Scripture?" They are topics for you to research, if you so desire. It may be easier to just start living your life the way our Heavenly Father desires for you to live, meaning that you read that Yahweh said, "Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it sanctified," and you do it. You see what day is the Sabbath, find out what it means to "keep it sanctified" or "set-apart," and simply do it. If He says, "don't bake or boil" on Sabbath (Exodus 16:23), you don't bake or boil. If He says, "don't work on Sabbath or cause others to work within your gates" (Exodus 23:12), you don't work or cause others to work. Just an example of what it would mean to "live your life the way our Heavenly Father desires for you to live."
It is recommended you read Explanations before going any further as it explains why we use Names instead of titles.
AFTER you have read the Bible, now you may want to compare what you read with what you are taught by ministers, teachers and possibly even parents. We do not like to think anyone intentionally deceived us; however, most of us have been deceived from childhood.
Below are some articles listed which may help the new Bible student, which focus on core topics that have been taught in violation of scripture such as our Heavenly Father's laws were done away with and all you need to do is say a "sinner's prayer" and you have salvation. For the most part, when it comes to the law, it is plain and simply Paul's writings which have been distorted (just as Peter said in 2 Peter 3:15-16). You must remember that there were NO so-called "New Testament" books when Yahshua and His apostles walked the earth. They walked, talked and taught the original Scriptures (Genesis to Malachi; more specifically "Torah" ["instructions"] Genesis to Deuteronomy). Not only are these things wrongfully taught, they WILL cost you your salvation--read on and, with Yahweh's help, you will see it.
