No bird, just a lamb. A chicken or turkey. Turtledove or pigeon. Eagle or buzzard.

It was killed. It was over-fed. It was sent to the nearest city. It was let go in the wilderness.

4. What is the life of the flesh (17:14)?

Its blood. Its skin. Oxygen. Germs.

Drink vinegar to kill the germs. Nothing--just wait. Eat a large meal. Wash his clothes and bathe in water.

6. Why was Aaron not to come at just any time into the kodesh ("holy"), inside the veil, before the mercy seat (16:2)?

YAHWEH would appear in a cloud above the mercy seat. Because he was not yet of age. Something would be going on that Aaron was not to know. Because YAHWEH said so with no reason given.

Cut off from His people. Sent to jail. Depended on the circumstances. Given an award.

8. What happens to the person who eats the blood of an animal (17:14)?

He would be very sick. Nothing would happen. He would be cut off. He would die.

9. If a man has a discharge and touches a vessel made of earth, what must be done to the vessel (15:12)?

Washed with hot water. Broken. Set in the sun for 12 hours. Burned in fire.

10. What did Aaron cast for the two goats (16:8)?

Fishing lines. Nothing. Marbles. Lots.
