Do Not Fear
In today's day and age, there are so very many people so fearful of so many things! Let's face it, it can be a scary world out there. In an age where it seems scriptural principles and morals have gone out the window, each is looking to their own self and are not always concerned about their behavior, much less of those around them. Folks are fearful of such things as getting sick, being injured, losing a job, losing their homes, losing their children/grandchildren and the list goes on and on even to the point of some never leaving their homes for anything! Even folks who know the scriptures are faced with many of these issues daily at times! Like so many other things, we are to overcome fear. Below are some scriptures which may be good ones to turn to when you are fearful and pray, pray, pray!
- Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for YAHWEH your Elohim, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
- I sought YAHWEH and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears (Psalms 34:4).
- Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In Elohim (I will praise His word), in Elohim I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me? (Psalm 56:3-4).
- YAHWEH is my light and my salvation; whom should I fear? YAHWEH is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid (Psalm 27:1
- [Messiah speaking} Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27).
- You must not fear them, for YAHWEH your Elohim Himself fights for you (Deuteronomy 3:22).
- You who fear YAHWEH, trust in YAHWEH; He is your help and your shield (Psalm 115:11).
- Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your Elohim. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10).
- For YAHWEH has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
