Biblical Affirmations
Who Are You? What Are You?
Do you sometimes think about who you actually are, perhaps even questioning your purpose in life? Below are some attributes that are (or should be) common to every single child of the Father. Although there is a single scripture indicated for each attribute/affirmation, many times there are multiple scriptures indicating the same.
- I love YAHWEH (Deuteronomy 6:5), I love YAHUSHUA (John 8:42), I love my neighbour (Leviticus 19:18) and I love myself (Leviticus 19:34).
- I am YAHWEH's workmanship (Exodus 32:3).
- I am fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
- I am the apple of YAHWEH's eye and He calls me His beloved (Deuteronomy 32:10).
- I am the King's son/daughter (Psalm 45:13).
- I am a branch of the heavenly vine (John 15:4).
- I am the light of the world (Matthew 5:14).
- I am friends with Messiah (Luke 12:4).
- I am part of YAHWEH's chosen people (Deuteronomy 7:6).
- I am part of the people of ISRAEL (Numbers 21:6)!
- I am the temple of YAHWEH's spirit (1 Corinthians 3:16).
- I am part of the body of Messiah (Romans 12:5).
- I am an adopted son/daughter (Ephesians 1:4).
- I am YAHWEH's special treasurer (Exodus 19:5).
- I am a partaker of the Divine Nature (2 Peter 1:4).
- I am an ambassador for Messiah (Ephesians 6:20).
- I am the head and not the tail Deuteronomy 28:13).
- I am above and not beneath ()Deuteronomy 28:13).
- I am forgiven and cleansed (Acts 11:9).
- I am a person at peace with Elohim (Proverbs 16:7).
- I am seated in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6).
- I am a city on a hill (Matthew 5:14).
- I am part of a kodesh nation (Exodus 19:6).
- I am called by His Name (Deuteronomy 28:10).
- I am part of a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9)
- I am part of HIS special people (Deuteronomy 7:6)!
- I am complete in Messiah (Colossians 2:10).
- I am dead to sin and alive unto Messiah (Romans 6:2)
